The founders started with handbags made from recycled bottle tops in Kenya and lined with leather waste. Through a collaboration with Mulberry, they became international bestsellers, supported artisans and funded health education for young people in Africa. Then they discovered the beauty and versatility of upcycled metal hoops and developed a signature chainmail that is today's BOTTLETOP DNA. BOTTLETOP has its own atelier and training programmes in Brazil and Nepal and continues to source the best sustainable and upcycled materials in challenging parts of the world. Through the BOTTLETOP FOUNDATION, the label continues to support grassroots health, education and training projects.
