Munich | fair and modern African inspired streetwear label with the goal to rebuild the textile industry in Malawi, with fashion that is 100% fair, sustainable and made in Africa from start to finish. Since 2017, KHALA has established its own production in Lilongwe. Khala is now a small but cheerful atelier, five sewing machines, one computer, eight people and a lot of intercultural teamwork. All the seamstresses are proud of their craft. KHALA pays them fair wages, pays for their children's education and their families' health care.
