ARMEDANGELS are rethinking a broken system and fighting against the use of un-necessary chemicals. No hazardous fertilizers. No synthetic pesticides. No toxic bleach. The greatest innovation your ass has ever worn. Conventional denim is one of the fashion industry’s dirtiest traditions. We’re talking water-wasting, soil-degrading, river-poisoning, CO2-pumping environmental killer that’s weighing heaviest on the backs of poor communities across the globe.

The ARMEDANGELS RÅ Denim collection is a jeans collection with the smallest ecological footprint to date. The collection takes its inspiration from the roots of denim with a rough, robust look, ideal to combine with a soft cotton t-shirt or woollen jumper. The collection consists of shirts, trousers, jackets, accessories and, for the first time, some unisex products. With the RÅ Denim collection you can create a ‘new jeans’ look every day that you can combine both casually and dressed up. The prices of the RÅ Denim collection are between € 39.90 and € 159.90.  Jeans are a timeless garment we all have in our wardrobe. But anyone who tries to live more consciously knows that jeans also come with a hefty ecological price tag. To make a pair of jeans, an average of 8,000 litres of water is used and often about two kilos of chemicals that give the jeans a washed-out look.  With RÅ Denim, ARMEDANGELS goes one step further and completely omits the otherwise very extensive washing process and chemicals used during production. By using organic cotton - GOTS certified - there is a sustainable management of waste + water and no toxic chemicals are used in the production of cotton. A win for the environment and your health, that makes every conscious shopper happy.  "RÅ Denim reminds us how every pair of jeans is born: in a dark indigo hue.   Not only authentic, but also sustainable because the washing process of the finished garment is skipped. With the Spring 22 collection and the RAW theme, they focused on a clean and sleek look: denim from head to toe, with loose fits and wide-legs increasingly included in the range.

ARMEDANGELS

ARMEDANGELS - one of the largest eco & fair fashion companies in Europe - incase you think it could work for any earth day features?  Everyone loves the boutique, small-batch, sustainable brands that are springing up everywhere. But they're often expensive and people still rely on high street fashion chains for the bulk of their wardrobe. They're proving that radically sustainable fashion at scale is possible - they're taking on high street fashion chains by matching price points without compromising on style or sustainability. From the simple idea of printing T-shirts and collecting donations for charity projects, they have grown into a company that is now one of the largest eco and fair fashion companies in Europe. ARMEDANGELS have just launched RÅ Denim: their most sustainable jeans yet. They also have activewear, loungewear + knitwear edits and are about to launch outerwear as a new product category in Autumn. ARMEDANGELS believe that real progress only happens when civil society, governments, companies, and charities come together. All for one, one for all. Through limited-edition t-shirts made of 100% organic cotton and their Solidarity Series they use their power to support others that fight to make a difference. Upcoming is the launch of the limited-edition shirt in a fight against the injustice of fast fashion. All proceeds will go to The National Garment Workers Federation in Bangladesh.
