Rediscover your wardrobe

If you are like most women on the planet, you probably extend your wardrobe more often than you need to. This is wasteful and not good for the environment (as we all know)because the over production of clothes is the most polluting industry in the world. It is time to celebrate what we have!

Make plans to sort out your wardrobe, you have to be able to see the clothes you have in order to start wearing them again. You will then be able to rediscover items you may have forgotten about.

Celebrating the things you have will automatically change your buying habits for the better. Play with old clothes to make new stylish combinations. You will be surprised!

Repair and recycle

Spending more time at home gives ourselves a chance to take a step back and learn how to repair and recycle the clothing that you have. There are plenty of tutorials online such as Fashion Revolution. This is a great way of extending your lockdown wardrobe in a sustainable way. REUSE, REPAIR, RECYCLE!

Choose reusable face pads

Did you know that the production of common cotton face pads requires a high amount of water and chemicals which end up in our seas, rivers and soil?

The first step? Using reusable face pads to make sure that your skin stays in good condition during lockdown whilst saving the planet. The lesson here? Change from disposable to reusable and look at your labels.

Whilst there are lots on the market to shop around always choose sustainable and ethically made beauty brands.

Lockdown has given all of us the opportunity to make small steps to be more fashion and beauty conscious so our Mother Earth can breathe again.

Take care of you!
